My new Landcruiser

In feburary, I picked this land cruiser locally. It is in fair shape ..



Project 1. Here we go. The old bumper was a slightly bent eyesore so here is the build of my new bumper

Milled the center hole and welded in plate as this bumper will also serve as my Air Reciever

I cut the ends with a Vertical band saw

Applied a little heat to get it to bend

Near finished. didnt turn out as well as I had hoped. If I were to do it again .. and I might
I would put the end caps on the inside

Project 2 Winch Fairlead
The old fairlead was designed to wrap around the old bumper. This bumper is to wide for that
So I commenced to modify it.

Almost Finished.. welds will be on the bottom. All that is left to do is Drill the 1/2" holes on 10" centers and reassemble
By Coincidence (wink) when I Get rich enough to afford Synthetic rope. The Warn fairlead has 1/2 holes on 10" centers .. Lucky Me!
